hey, ive noticed alot of your lessons you use Dropped D and such, so i was wondering if you could help me out with this. do you ever play in tuning DGDGGD or CGCGGC? if you do is there any info you could give regarding how to biuld chords with those tuning types. or any other site you know of that could enlighten me on it alittle bit. it sounds so cool, but im pretty clueless about chord construction in those tunings. Thanks so much!

I know the Goo Goo Dolls and Dashboard Confessional use very similar tuning on some of their songs. You might be able to pull up tabs and get a starting point. Name is one by the Goo Goo Dolls and Screaming Infidelities is one from Dashboard Confessional. It's worth checking out.

Hi! I don't use this altenative tunnings very often but I know many guitar player that do it to get different positions, invertions of the chords and also to have more open strings scale notes in the key of the song that you are playing. It would be very interesting to explore this tunnings. I'll think to do some lessons about this.
