Technically very hard to do, since the upload is a single request, and there is no opportunity to paint a progress bar, but Maybe Henrik has a way smile.gif

One more idea for the lesson maker biggrin.gif

Possibility to add a TAB as a picture or pdf, in my opinion it would be much clearer and better looking if attached in such way, both in main and slow videos.

What do you think? smile.gif

Dejan: Do you mean making a "normal" music sheet from the gtp file? It's a good idea - but I will need to look up if the gtp software allows you to export images!

Keep the ideas coming - this is excellent!!

Yes, I think on image from GP5, it allows you to export the TAB together with notation in image format, and then I can just cut the picture for corresponding slow videos smile.gif

And even if someone is creating tabs in other programs which don't support export to image, there's always 'print to screen' option wink.gif

Progress bar is a good idea, but since i know allready how much time it usually takes for one file to be complete i dont really need a progress bar, i can calculate it easily on my computer.

I would to rather see delete option for video files as a a primary thing. smile.gif

A progress bar is a good idea when uploading videos, when they are long you don´t know if they are uploading or the page haz frozen.
About images files fro gp5, you can always print the file to a "virtual image", in my case I can print them to pdf format, and with adobe I save them again as jpgs. But not anyone has adobe don´t know any freeware option.

Actually there is a way to display a progress bar for file uploads. You'll need to implement some ajax and javascript coding however. Since this site is coded in php it would be fairly easy. There's actually already some people out there that have done this and provided their php classes for free to download.

Check out This Site.

He gives you an SVN repository with all the javascript and php classes to download so you can basically download the files and put some include statements within the html form page for the upload and you're done.

Henrik should know how to do this and it's super easy to do...considering all the coding is done for you.
