really nice solo there! I wasn't expecting something THAT good. You've got a great southern rock feel going on. If I started listening to the solo without hearing the rest of the song first, I'd probably think it was Molly Hatchet or The Outlaws playing.

Really great job! I was just about the upload something but this blows me out of the water! Gee, thanks alot! Now I have to wait another week to post! Hahaha (just joking by the way)

How long have you been playing?

I was thinking something similar.

This is actually really very pro, I was impressed, theres a bit of strain on the high vocals but man I couldnt do that for the life of me either!

The solo rips. smile.gif

Robin,

I think I've said this before but I really think you are good. It's not easy writing songs and I dig this tune. I can imagine it with some kick-ass 70's hammond B3 keyboard. That would be awesome. I don't think you should be worried about your voice because I think it's good. So, now just practice it like your guitar and you will only get better. Nice quality on the recording too. Great job man! smile.gif Thanks for posting this. By the way, how is your hand?

Standing ovations Robin, your voice is great and you playing too.

QUOTE (fkalich @ Dec 14 2007, 04:49 AM) *
well you have timing. as time goes on, I feel that is the most importing thing, and also the most difficult. I don't mean mechanical clock like. I mean, if we listen to our heart beat, that pulse to it. if you put a clock on it, would it be clock like perfect? nope. but it has that pulse, life to it. i have a theory that what appeals to a lot of people is just that, when music is like their heart beat. we have that rhythm all our lives you know.

I agree wholeheartedly too all this. The timing is the most important thing I think, and you find it perfectly and seem very relaxed with it (without actually seeing you perform).

Well done.
