cant wait to hear what you think!
i would have went and done the 12th fret too, just to even the number out biggrin.gif

im thinking of sending mine away to get the entire neck scalloped, but i dont know where, how much it'll cost or how long it'll take.

haha well i did... 13-24 is 12 frets all together tongue.gif i figured id go for one octave of normal frets and a higher octave of scalloped for now... and ya i cant wait to test it out either ...ill let you know when i have... im gonna try to string it now real fast before class. but its a tremolo bridge and i had it tuned in C before and am now tuning it to E so it might take some time doing the spring tension and stuff ahha

and you can do it yourself...it wasnt that hard as long as you dont rush it and keep looking it over as you do it. and i spend like 30 bucks on the supplies, supplies of which i now have to keep and can be used to scallop in the future as well smile.gif

I would REALLY love to do this, but I can't make myself do it.
It would feel like I raped the guitar.

Nooo not my beatiful guitar.
Yesss, let's do it.
No, the guitar is nice to us...

This guy seems to view his guitars just as tools and do whatever is neccessary. Maybe it is.
But beware of the Fret Man.

and might i say with a days practice with it under my belt.... I LOVE IT!!! i just started marcus's neoclassical beginners lesson and my not getting caught up on the bending and vibratos and more smile.gif you can vibrator like crazy now hahaha

Well in theory if you scallop a binded (bound?) neck it could mess up the binding a bit because you will file away some of it.
I haven't any experience with it though so i'm just speculating based on observation.

its working fine and is only messing up a little cosmetically, and even then its very little.

think i may have gone a little deep though.

any idea where i can get some of that gloss from the internet or the UK? i really should have thought of that beforehand :S
