Welcome to GMC.
The valveking is a great valve amp at an affordable price so its a good choice.
Now pick up your axe and start learning some GMC exercises!
Look forward to hearing your progress.
David

Seems like a big family here and I'm glad I picked GMC as my home.

Well I hope the weather is pretty down there. It is cloudy, cold and drizzle here.

Now there are a few of us older folks in here that have either just started to play or played for um teen years but never learned to play correctly(That's Me). Starting out playing right! Man, you going to have a ball. So, you ready?

I am a huge Costello fan.

Hi Mike
I have been writing songs for more than 20 years and never come even close to classics like Shipbuilding or She.
I'm 35 and still love to play guitar just like all the younger guys.
One downside to being a guitarist - you'll never have money for very long. Life becomes a never ending hunt for better gear.
It's lots of fun though biggrin.gif

Anyone who likes Costello has taste in my book btw - first saw him many years/decades ( ohmy.gif ) ago on the This Year's Model tour and 'Alison' remains as one of my favourite love bitter/sweet songs. Also, and as McGoo says, Shipbuilding is awesome, though for me it's Wyatt's version that really gets me.

Valve king though should be great for this imo.

Cheers,
Tony

ps Probably totally wrong but I think Costello used to use both a Vox AC30 and H/H 100 transistor amps.
