Every console of those 3 are very interesting in its own way..In my personal opinion nintendo did the right thing making something really revolutionary. When I first read the review about the controls I had to have it..It really changed my perspective on playing video games. Its a best seller so I think its future with good games is secured that way (game developers take it seriously)...Also there is a lot of place for improvement (new Wii Fit balance controller) ...I'm sure in few years there will be a more advanced wii out there (with advanced graphics and who knows what improvements ( in control)..

I've had one since my first day at GMC, and I've got to say I'm really disappointed with it. It's a great console, but it's not for the hardcore gamer. If you're getting it for your kids, or plan to play with your friends it's fun, but I can't stand it.

The thing that really repels me from playing it is that it's target age range is somewhere from ages 8-12. Most of the games I've seen and played are kiddie games. Also, the system is a lot less powerful than the 360 and the PS3, and this shows in games like Call of Duty 3.

If you plan to play games for hours on end alone, or online, I suggest the 360.

If you plan to play games with friends or family and just have fun, then grab the Wii.

+1- The Wii is fun , I owned one until I traded it in for a 360. I do believe that the Wii is a family system, but if they were to introduce a couple violent succesfull games on the console, they would do a heck of alot better. The reason for that is , without having a system that has games that appeal to all " Gamer Types " you will always leave out a piece of the crowd.smile.gif

It was on the verge of not coming out for the Wii because it was rated Adults only. But they changed it back to Mature, because lots of people really wanted it for the wii

Myself, I prefer the Wii because I'll always have a preference of playing on PC when it comes to most games released for xbox or psx. If I can't get it for computer, likely it either falls into the category of I don't want it or would be nice but doesn't justify buying a console. However Wii is an exception biggrin.gif

I prefer XBOX 360 And the consoles in general because with PC You have to update video cards and the hardware to keep up with games, and it costs alot of money in the end to do this. Sure, you can drop $5,000 for a high end PC, and another $1,000 if you wanted for the best video card in the world, and never need to replace for a decade, or you could buy a new system when they come out every 5 or so years, for well under $6,000, or even $2,000.

And with a console, you know there wont be all the glitches and bugs (Or possibility of) like there is with a PC.

BUT.....

PC Gaming, if you got it going right.....Is way Better smile.gif

Does anyone have this baby ? Its a great console and first one I actually wanted to buy..I really like the way you interact with games using wireless controllers..You get really involved with it ..Its really fun played with friends too..And after a game session your muscles got a good workout..

What are your thoughts about it..And ask if you have any questions (I own the console) , share info about games , wi-fi etc...
cool.gif

It's also a cool way to watch online movies on your TV. :-)

Well its definitly one of best games for Wii now..Its just amazing.I really love how they made the universe new playground and how you jump from planet to planet and than cam twists around..Well its unique experience I can see now that I can't describe it properly smile.gif I also played through half of the Paper Mario on Wii..Its fun too, you can switch fast from 2d to 3d space and thats how you solve problems..I really like shiny precise Mario graphics here too wink.gif

here is video review of Mario Galaxy : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VD0iW0_zFCU

Everyone needs a 360 because everyone needs Mass Effect wink.gif

I found mass effect to be a complete and utter let down, with the good/bad (forgot what they are called ????/renegade?) thing useless besides extra dialogue, 4 weapon types with little variation, and terrible squad AI (If you wanted to destroy a base full of geth just stand far away and send them over, they ust keep respawning till all the enemies are dead?!)ys
Traded it in after three days!!! laugh.gif
