Hi,

My name is Trevor. I am 21 years of age, and I am currently living in Alabama going to the University of Alabama to become a Computer Engineer.

I have had a guitar for about 10 years. I played off and on for about the first two years because I had a terrible teacher. Then I began challenging myself more and more by learning tablature that is once I hit about the age of 16/17. I was in a few bands off and on between the ages of 17-19. Then, I felt I got to a point where I believed I was getting better during those years; however, I stopped playing as much and I lost quite a bit of information I did learn. I have lately though been picking up my newer guitar (Schecter Special Edition Diamond series) and just fiddling around with it lately; however, I do not think I have reached the heights I was once at, so I thought I would give this a try.

I listen to classic rock, hard rock, and metal. Really though, I have just within the past few years gained more of a respect for classic rock. The classic rock artists I am referring to are Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, and several other bands but I would have to say I could listen to the ones I mentioned all day every day. Hard rock bands I listen to are Godsmack, Alice in Chains (may be considered Grunge but still hard rock to me), System of A Down, Dream Theatre (you may think them to be metal but I consider them great musicians in the hard rock genre), Guns'N' Roses, etc. Lastly the metal bands I listen to more frequently than any other genre of music are Children of Bodom, old Metalica, Megadeth, In Flames (as you may guess), Lamb of God, some Slayer, Testament, Pantera, Down, etc etc.

I am sorry if I am too verbose or if I have too much to say; however, I really just want everyone to get a feel of what kind of person I am. Since I tend to judge how a person is by their musical references. Any ways any questions of me just let me know, and I just hope that this will help me develop/hone my skills to a point where I can wow myself someday.
