Hello fellow GMC'ers!
I'm in the market for a new amp and got stuck on the Vox digital/tube hybrid AD100VT.
The product range is described here:
Anyone here that have tried one?
Is this a good amp you think?
It will be used when practicing with our hobby band but it is possible that there might be gig situations in the future (if i manage to get any good).
We play 60's and 70's rock/hard rock but we might want to do more heavy stuff as well.

When you play for instance the first pentatonic box up and down to a metronome, do you play the last note once or twice (for A minor this would be fret 8 on thin E)?
I started to play it twice in order to keep in sync with the beeps when i began practicing to a metronome but before that i didn't.
I guess it doesn't matter so much either way but i got curious how others did it...

My name is Johan Isacsson, age 29, married, have 2 kids and i just recently decided to get good at playing the guitar.
I've been playing on and off for several years, i started at age 9 in music school playing acoustic and did that for 3-4 years then did some electric guitar for a couple of years. After that I've only picked up the guitar occasionally.
I never really got serious about practicing, i just played the same old songs end didn't develop my skills much at all.
Time to change that i figured and found freelicks (got both DVD's) and it lead me to here.
Got a new guitar (Ibanez SA260), a new pick and a metronome, all set in other words .
My main inspiration when it comes to guitar is Hendrix, Slash, Tom Morello, Daron Malakian, Kirk Hammet to name some....
I also like good old music such as Neil Young, The Beatles etc.
Kudos to Kris for a good site and concept!
