Thanks for your wonderful work here at GMC. I need to sound better. I have a Lyon - by Washburn distortion pedal. Nothing too great to talk about. Can you give me clues on how to get a better tone.

Well my recipe for decent distortion is to buy good amp and use the distortion in there...
But you could also get a line6 pod for distortion versatility.
If you want to buy an analog distortion pedal it depends on what kind of distortion you want (blues, scooped metal, hi-gain midrange solo distortion etc.)
I think best would be if you got to sit down and try some different pedals in a store!
