valleyofben
just looking to start a virtual band, play some stuff, have fun, you know whatever. are you mostly lead or rhythm? i can cover either one fairly well.
jer
80/20 rhythm. a small amount of lead if the songs are slower.

Covers or originals?

In the style of?
valleyofben
i'm down to do either covers or originals, doesnt matter to me. im more of a bullet for my valentine style player, but i can play a lot of lamb of god style stuff too, so im pretty diverse. got any covers in mind?
jer

i can play most of tears dont fall and parts of some others on the album. scream aim fire would be a fun one to do. is that within either of your skill levels?
jer
I'll have to listen to them closely at home tonight. I can only recall the chorus parts at the moment.

do that and let me know. do you hav any high powered recording equipment and/or something to put all the pieces of the song together? i only have the free stuff (audacity and a couple other things) but if needed i can probly find a couple programs if you have any ideas on what i should get. i just dont know what to look for.

gotta go guys, lunch time haha. fuckin high school. ill get on again at home later. in about 7 hours. ish. :]
superize
I use a toneport gx and reaper for recording
valleyofben
hey guys, im back. playin my ibanez haha. jer did you listen to any bullet songs? btw, what tuning do you guys usually play in? we should find a bassist and/or drummer. let me know :]
valleyofben
btw, if you wanna hear my solo skill, watch ian bushell's sweep arpeggio's lesson. i can play most of that at about 0.75 speed, and i could play the rest if i bothered to learn it all haha. but at the moment im learning his inersha - straight through the heart part 1 video, it has some great riffs, check it out if you want
Sami

what do you play? whats your skill level?
jonathan
I'm interested if u are still looking for another member. I saw bullet live at the beggining of this year, love their style.

What skill level are u looking for?
valleyofben
doesn't really matter, i'm a pretty intermediate player. it looks like we have more guitarists signing up than we really need tho. anyone play bass too? or drums? or sing? or scream?? hahaha i can do the bullet type screaming a little bit. but i think jer and superize already claimed guitarists since they were here first. but if any of you guys can do anything else, we need all those other things too.
jer
I havent listened to those tunes yet.

Someone can have my spot if they want. Not a problem. I'll jump in on the next one.

valleyofben
thanks for being so easy about it jer! :] well in that case, in my experience my real bands have usually just had 2 guitarists. so i think me and superize is good for now. we'll add more later if needed. but we do still need a bassist and drummer and possibly a signer. let me know if any of you are good at playing metal bass/drums, or singing or screaming haha :]
jonathan
I might be getting a bass pretty soon, so if your are still looking for one i could be your guy!
superize
I got drum programs so i can make drum sound

What programs have you got? coz i've been looking at EZ dummer and it looks pretty good, but there's probably a better one out there.
