Hey guys I have been doing quite a lot of experimenting this week with cubase and reaper. First I had to figure out how to get my pedal connected to the computer and then get everything installed and working properly. I am VERY new at all this, and after a few hours of trial and error I managed to get a decent recording of Jerry Arcidiacono's Adeste Fideles lesson, which I have uploaded(Hopefully it works, I'm new at this as well). This was recorded in cubase and I had the option to save the file as either a windows media file or a WAV file. I saved it as a WAV file but I was wondering which is better to use? Also any tips for better sounding recording are welcome, as well as any advice and pointers about the guitar playing and tone. I should also say that the ending lick in this recording is nowhere near what Jerry did in the actual lesson, quite frankly I'm still working on learning the lick he did, and for the sake of getting a decent recording I used one I was more comfortable with.
