Full Version: Moving From Pedalboard To Pedals

Hi guys! I'm thinking on moving from using my Pod HD 500 to start using pedals when I play live with Cirse. I don't need too many things but I want top quality stuff and easier to set up. I have to buy some stuff, but I already have these ones (some are good and some other aren't).

+ Visual Sound Jekyll & Hide
+ Visual Sound H2O
+ Visual Sound Route 66
+ MXR Distortion
+ Boss Chorus CE 5
+ Line 6 Delay DL4
+ Wah Wah Boss (don't remember the model now)

I think that adding a good volume pedal (I was thinking on an Ernie Ball), a tuner (I was thinking on a Korg) and a better wah wah (Dunlop or Mccoy) I would have all that I need by now. Another pedal that I love and would like to have in the future is the Phase 90.

What do you use? Pedals or Pedalboard? How do you connect the pedals? What order? Do you use the amp loop? Any other thoughts about this? Do you have cool pedals to recommend?

I use pedals! They look cooler and I just like being able to buy a pedal for each effect, so I can really get the sound I want, even thought at the moment with my current sound experience I just tend to buy the pedals that my favorite guitarists use laugh.gif .

But I'd definitely recommend the Polytuner by T.C. Electronic, Dark matter distortion by T.C. Electronic, the Xotic RC Booster, Xotic BB Preamp & the one pedal you want in the future, the Phase 90 biggrin.gif

I also have a Dunlop Crybaby ( http://www.thomann.de/gb/dunlop_cry_baby_cb535q.htm ), but I can't figure out if it is the one I want to keep having, since it doesn't show if it is on or off when you use it, which is pretty annoying & I don't think there is any big difference between the wahwah settings... So I've been thinking about getting ( http://www.thomann.de/gb/dunlop_crybaby_95q_wahwah.htm ) which has auto on / off smile.gif.

And I connect my pedals by using these ( http://www.thomann.de/gb/planet_waves_klin...ekte_pw047a.htm ), I use a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power Plus 2 ( http://www.thomann.de/gb/voodoo_labpedal_power_2_plus.htm ) instead of battery smile.gif

The order I use for my pedals I found here on Alex's board -> http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...948&hl=gear
