Hi Asmodeus!! Welcome to your Gab's Army thread!!

Could you please tell me a bit about you, your musical tastes, influences, strengths and weaknesses? I would need some videos of you playing rhythm and solo guitar, so please post your best material here. If you have some music or ideas of your own, also post them here. Also let me know how you think that I can help you and what are your expectations for our job. You can check the other Army's thread to discover the different modalities of this project.

The principles of our Army are:

+ Improve your technique
+ Make music and solos
+ Have fun
+ Destroy the enemy (hahaha not really just kidding... )

Hey man, im from norway,25 years old, been playing since i was 18(played little more seriously last year until now:D.
I am most inspired by the many different rock / metal genres, particularly black, death, thrash metal. But I listen to all kind of music.
I like bands like: Dimmu borgir,morbid angel,black sabbath,1349,Mayhem pantera,nile,satyricon.dark funeral,camel,old metallica:D etc.

I feel that i know little about basic scales chords / notes.
I've only played after the ears and tabs. I have learned a few different techniques but little about notes, chords, freetbord knowledge. Need also to get better control of the guitarpick. i`m not very good at playing solos, better on rhytmguitar.
I'll post some videos of what i can play as fast as i buy the recording equipment i need, then you see what you can help me to correct:D

Ok! What lessons are you working now?
asmodeus
I've added these exercises in my rehearsal program:

I bought michael angelo batio speed kills 2 dvd a few weeks ago. I have also added a lot of exercises from this DVD. Thought it worked very well.
