Ah mate - it's an interesting game smile.gif In here, everybody knows everybody - it's a game of who gets to talk in due time for an event. We currently have a PR but no actual manager. We are always on a constant hunt for finding out about events in due time, in order for us to be included. Things are slowly turning towards the moment in which we are being sought after, by the organizers. For instance, the gig with Queensryche, came to us, we didn't struggle to get it. It's a game of getting yourself out there as much as possible - at least this is the method for Romania. If you know the right people and if you know what the other bands are doing, in a smaller country, it's fairly easier to get noticed, especially if you are hard working and always trying to give the best you got. I don't know how the industry works in other places tho.. how do you do it?
Cornelius
i see smile.gif so its almost the same here... i live in a small village, so everybody knows who is playing in a band..
so all the event manangers know who to contact.... the hard way, playing live, and get your word spread out...
but its not so easy playing blues, cause the fanbase here is getiing smaller and smaller..
people start listening to justin biber and crap music like that, techo, trance etc...

:/:/:/
Cosmin Lupu
Well, in here it's a bit easier as everybody knows everybody, but the nasty part is, that there are a lot of bands struggling to get the gig and you start stepping on each others feet laugh.gif
