Hey guys!! This thread is to share all those bands that play metal but that has also incorporated traditional / folk music from their own countries. I consider that this is one of the things that can make bands from all over the world unique.

These are my examples:

Sepultura - Brazil

Angra - Brazil

Almafuerte - Argentina

Puya - Puerto Rico

Ulrik
Chtonic - Taiwan

Vanir - Denmark

Svartsot - Denmark

Thyrfing - Sweden

...and off couse

Emir Hot - Bosnia

Just the first ones, that came to mind

Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering

Amazing band! I love these guys - I was totally blown away when they came to Romania 2 years ago!

There's a black/ pagan metal band from Romania, called Negura Bunget. They are famous in the world, but not so much in here - ironic, innit?

They have influences from the ancient dacian music and they use a wide variety of archaic musical instruments aside the usual rock/metal 5 piece band:
