This rapper has done a great song, I can certainly connect to this one.

Lyrics :
Somebody save me, me from myself
I've spent so long living in hell
They say my lifestyle is bad for my health
It's the only thing that seems to help

All of this drinkin' and smokin' is hopeless
But feel like it's all that I need
Somethin' inside of me's broken
I hold on to anything that sets me free

I'm a lost cause
Baby, don't waste your time on me
I'm so damaged beyond repair
Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams

I'm a lost cause
Baby don't waste your time on me
I'm so damaged beyond repair
Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams

What if the night sky was missin' the moon?
There were no shootin' stars to use wishin' on you
And all of my sorrows, I'd just wash them down
It's the only peace, I've ever found

All of this drinkin' and smokin' is hopeless
But feel like it's all that I need
Somethin' inside of me's broken
I hold on to anything that sets me free

I'm a lost cause
Baby don't waste your time on me
I'm so damaged beyond repair
Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams

I'm a lost cause
Baby don't waste your time on me
I'm so damaged beyond repair
Life has shattered my hopes and my dreams

That's a very nice song. He doesn't sound like a rapper, his voice reminds me a bit to Black Stone Cherry and some other 2000's alternative rock bands.

I love BSC seen them a few times from small venues to big venues.

Jelly Roll is from Nashville and BSC are from Edmonton in Kentucky around 115 miles away so maybe similar musical influences. Jelly Roll is mainly rap, I think this might be the first song he's done that isn't rap but I may be wrong there.

So much emotion in his voice, nice and raw. cool.gif

Here are the guys from Andertons (Rebea included) doing their tonal impression of BSC. Whaddya think? The unprocessed tone maybe might be a bit too unprocessed? Then again I"m probably not the guy to ask about unprocessed tone as I like a pretty thick layer fx on things smile.gif

Cool! I checked the tones and I must say that they sound really close!
