I'm still undecided about Nocturno. He has a really definable sound but sometimes it gets on my nerves, like Abbath's voice.

I understand when it comes to Abbath, but how can Nocturnos vocals get annyoing? O_o His growling is so warm and smooth and super kewl.

1. Karsten Jäger (Disbelief) !
2. Ivan Moody (Five Finger Death Punch)
3. Mikeal Åkerfeldt (Opeth)
4. Corey Taylor (Stone Sour)
5. Phil Anselmo (Pantera)
6. John Henry (Darkest Hour)
7. Stefano Fiori (Graveworm)
8. Kaisu - (Carcosa)
9. Dez Fafara (DevilDriver)
10. Dax Riggs (Acid Bath)

Karsten Jäger has one of the most angst ridden screams I've ever heard.

Ivan Moody has a very distinctive melodic style of shouting/screaming.

Stefano Fiori has a full 30 second scream at the start of the new Graveworm album - Collateral Defect - Bloodwork.

Kaisu > Angela Gossow in terms of female screamers.

Dax Riggs is just the man.

Sorry for the delayed response. My post was a bit vague.

I actually really enjoy Nocturno's voice pre Panzerfaust it had a very crisp sound to it, but now it sounds really strained and forced to me. I agree, his voice on A Blaze In The Northern Sky is absolutely choice.
