Date of Birth: 22nd December 1978

Been playing guitar since: 1991

Born in Porto Alegre, South of Brazil, I was exposed to a strong mixed culture of music from Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. I started to play guitar in my childhood, at the age 13 and under influence by Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Jimmy Page and Stevie Ray Vaughan. I took private lessons and few years later I started to teach in some music schools in Porto Alegre and by doing that I got involved in projects like guitar clinics, master classes and I also become a session player. Besides that, I was also studying music and I graduated in Music Performance and later on in Guitar & Technology, Music Pedagogy. I am also an orchestrator certified by Berklee USA.

While in Brazil I also worked for advertising companies in Porto Alegre Brazil, and this was considered to be in one of the greatest schools in my life, to be able to understand the message and create musical ideas quickly, playing and recording many styles... This was definitely one of the greatest schools in my journey. I studied music for 10 years... studied? Actually I never stopped learning, few months ago I was studying Jazz Improvisation through a Berklee online courses with Gary Burton! For me this is an endless process I am always learning something new.

Late in 2005 I got a job as a music teacher in Iceland, I stayed there for 8 years teaching the elementary, gymnasium and high school level, and in 2011 during my Summer vacation I started to do guitar clinics in USA. I went to New York, Tampa, FL and in 2012 in Orlando, FL. During this time I also took part in various Festivals and International guitar competitions around the globe and it has been 4 years that I make to the Top 3.

I was very honored to play at the Ziua Chitarelor II guitar festival in 2010 in Bucharest Romania with some of the greatest icons of the guitar world like Brett Garsed, Greg Howe, Michael Angelo Batio, Andy Timmons, Richard Hallebeek and Willian Stravato. That was a great teaching moment as well, and also very inspiring.

In 2013 a lot of things happened in my life! I recorded some guitar tracks in a project of a Grammy-nominated composer/producer Rick Hale, also for Darkyra black ( Metal Project from Australia), vital Science ( Progressive Metal Band from Estonia/ Latvia). I took part in a great project called Guitar Wizards by Versailles Records and I am one of the guitar players in the project and in my team I had Garry King on Drums ( Jeff Beck, Joe Lynn Turner), Mike Lepond ( Symphony X ) and Sergey Boykov on the Keys ( Vital Science).

This collection bringing many of the top guitarists including solos from Damon Johnson (Brother Kane, Thin Lizzy), Jake E Lee (Ozzy Osbourne Band, Badlands), Keri Kelli (Alice Cooper Band, Ratt, LA Guns, Slash's Snakepit, etc), Jimmy Crespo (Aerosmith), Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake), Blues Saraceno (Poison), George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob), Gilby Clarke (Guns N Roses, Heart, MC5), Ira Black (Metal Church, Lizzy Borden) on a track that also features Chris Slade (AC/DC), and Chris Poland (Megadeth), Glen Alvelais (Testament), and Jan Hammer (Miami Vice Theme Writer) among others.

2013 was also the year I moved from Iceland to Sweden and here I teach music and technology and I also teach online via Skype and work with music production, orchestration for films, games and now I am one of the instructors at GMC! I am always ready to Rock!
