Location: Salerno, Italy
Date of Birth: May 3rd 1983
Been Playing Guitar Since: 2001
I grew up playing football and other sports - never played an instrument before 2001 ( but I have always loved the saxophone). I often used to listen to bands like Queen, Dire Straits, Creedence, The Beatles and so on, until I finally heard Images & Words and Passion & Warfare, the two albums that drove me to play guitar. Although I am mostly self- taught, I have studied with some great Italian guitarist and Musicians.
Playing and Influences
Well, so many influences: Steve Vai and John Petrucci (the guilty men) David Gilmour, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Keith Richards, Joe Pass, Frank Gambale, Andy Timmons, Guthrie Govan and so on. I listen to everything from Metallica to Damien Rice.
The key technique that makes me love any guitarist is vibrato - this is always what blows me away.
I try to make useful lessons for beginners and then for more advanced guitarists, lessons about alternate picking, legato, speed picking, tapping and whammy tricks. I like to take care of the smallest problems that every guitarist can have during practice. I would also like to make some lessons about fingerboard knowledge in the future.
