  • HEY GMC!

I'm so excited to be able to bring you this special Blues lesson!

Today we take a look at 30 of the greatest blues musicians. I've compiled these 30 blues greats to glimpse into the history of the blues from the delta through chicago and into the british blues boom and beyond. There are so many amazing blues musicians we'd need a lesson as long as time itself to cover them all but I hope this highlights some very important musicians who shaped blues and rock.

The piece moves through the different decades of Blues music and with it guitars change, as does amplification and of course guitar tunings, with a few of the tunes using open guitar tunings (E B E G# B E) (D A D F# A D) but theres a lot of standard tunings in there too so get tuned up and ready for a history in Blues!

    Hope you enjoy!
    Chris
