  • Hello GMC'ers! The time has come for you to try combining some of the techniques and scales that we have done in the '8-Finger Tapping Basics' and '8-Finger Tapping Scales' lesson series.

This should represent a big step for your tapping technique development- now, although simple, phrasing and melodic combining is required from you. If you are now at the level where you can play all the tapping exercises we've done earlier, with confidence, this shouldn't be anything new for you.

If you get a lot of noise from the open strings when playing this or any tapping piece, you can use a string dampener, or lower your distortion gain. I hope that this solo will bring your tapping to a higher level, so you will be able to play any tapping solo with ease! Use a metronome- it helps...really!
