HEY GMC!
Welcome to my new lesson. This time we take a look at the king of Gypsy Jazz! Django Reinhardt.
Django has an inimitable style but we'll try our best to get close to his brilliance with a look at his common techniques and approach to soloing over chords.
In this piece i've taken the chords from the famous jazz standard 'All of Me' to give us a really interesting chords progression to solo over, showing how Django utilised arpeggios for a free flowing and melodic style of improvisation.
