Hi GMC'ers! In this lesson we will be taking a look at a popular song by Avril Lavigne.person).
“Avril Ramona Lavigne (born 27 September 1984) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, fashion designer, actress and philanthropist. By the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain, and by 16, Lavigne had signed a recording contract with Arista, now RCA Records. When she was 17 years old, Lavigne broke onto the music scene with her debut album, Let Go, released in 2002”.("Avril Lavigne", Wikipedia: The Free Encyclopedia)
The song “Sk8ter boi” was the second single of the record “Let Go”. I've recorded all of the guitars that appear on the record. I want you to pay attention to the arrangement because in a way you can use the concepts to create your own hit song.
