  • Hey GMC!

Welcome to my new video where we look at using a looper pedal. This lesson is aimed at those who haven't used a looper pedal much before and want to know how to get the best out of it.

The looper pedal has become a common member of most guitarists pedalboard nowadays. It is a great practice and performance tool. But it also highlights some areas of our playing that could do with some work. I'm talking mostly about 'Rhythm' and Timing here. As you try this lesson you may find your rhythm isn't always consistent but don't worry, we've all had this realisation and using a looper is a great way of building better timing.

So as you would expect, in this lesson we focus rhythm/timing and some tips on how we can help create loops that are in time and flow well. Also in the lesson, you can get some ideas on how to arrange your loops so they can all be heard clearly. Using parts that are low, mid, and high in pitch is a great way of thinking.

I hope you enjoy the lesson and if you fancy trying some more looping lessons, my 'Creative Looping' lesson has some great ideas for you to try next.

    Have Fun!

    Chris
