  • Hi GMC'ers!

This lesson is the third in a series dealing with the chord melody technique!

We have been covering FM7 & Gm7 voicings so far ( first & second degree from the F major tonality ) .

In this one we are going to learn all the chords inversion of the C7 or C Dominant 7th chord. Once done, we are going to add one note (when possible) on the highest string of each voicing.C7 is the fifth chord from the F major scale.

The lesson covers Drop 2 voicings on the four middle and four high strings and Drop 3 voicing starting on the low E. I also recommend transposing all these voicings to all 12 keys.
Of course it's a lot of work, but you'll for sure improve your fretboard knowledge/visualization !

    Have fun practicing!
