  • Greetings from Granada (Andalucia, Spain)!

In this exercise lesson I have prepared the techniques that I consider essential to play the slide technique with the bottleneck. I have grouped it into seven parts, adding the new technical nuances to the same musical phrase each time.

    Music Style: rhythm & blues

Tonality & Scales: G Pentatonic minor

    Techniques: slide, bottleneck

Sound: I used a Gibson les Paul Gold 73', high pickup tone down, with overdrive.

    Tuning: Standard Tuning - E, A, D, G, B, E

    Tempo & Beat:
130 bpm (Slow parts at 65 bpm)
    4/4

    G PENTATONIC MINOR SCALE
