  • Greetings from Granada (Andalucia, Spain)!

In this guitar lesson I used a classic taste of old country and blues style. The rhythm are blows of feet above the ground, as it was in the beginning. It also reminds a bit of Native Americans. I used a special technique of fast slide vibrato to give more ethnic sound to the melody. Delta bluesmen like Skip James, John Hurt, Big Joe Williams, Charlie Patton... use this kind of rhythm.

    Music Style:
    Country Rock with ethnic taste

    Tonality & Chords:
    C Major (Dm Dorian)

    Techniques:
Fast slide vibrato, hybrid picking, legato, vibrato,...

    Sound:
I used a Gibson Les Paul Gold Deluxe 74' with a little of delay and overdrive.

    Tuning:
    Dropped D tunnig: D,A,D,G,B,E

    Tempo:
84 bpm. (Slow parts at 42 bpm)
