  • Hi GMC!

The "Hot Bluegrass Country Solo" lesson covers a hot country style solo that is anchored with some classic bluegrass licks. Bluegrass guys are known to have amazing technique and play at lightning speeds. First, we are going to utilize some open string pull-off scales and licks. This is the first technique that will speed things up. Secondly, we will utilize bluegrass style banjo rolls that simulate the sound of banjo... on steroids. These are embellished with some additional hot country techniques like double-stops, steel guitar bends, behind the nut bends and a tuning key dip.
