  • Hey GMC!! what's up?! Ready for a new lesson? This time is something super special for me, probably my two favorite guitar players of all time, both are iconic, groovy, dirty and both play strats (like humbly I do), I'm talking about mr John Frusciante of the red hot chili peppers and MR Jimi Hendrix, we can call him God from now on :)

So, if you know me, you probably know by now that this is a pretty easy lesson, and it is, but don't get fooled, cause even the most expert guitar master, can learn a trick or two from this guys, and i tried to mimic those crazy tricks here.

We are using (of course) just one scale, probably the Blues favorite scale, it's the E Minor Pentatonic scale:

No chords for this lesson, this is a LEAD lesson -but-, if you check Jimi's work on Vodoo Child, you can see he sings in top of those leads, so you can take it as you wish :)

I hope you all have fun with this one, and check the video part #1 to find out more about the tone and technique i used here, also if you have ANY question/comment or you just wanna say hello, drop me a line on the feedback, on the forum, by PM, on facebook, youtube, whatever, I'm more than happy to help.

    Have Fun!
