  • Hi GMC-ers! Richie Kotzen is a famous rock-blues guitar player who is known for his work with Poison, solo career, and mutual work with Greg Howe.

    I created this lesson for you to learn a cool sounding yet simpler Richie Kotzen Pentatonic lick. It is an essential lick if you want to play something in his style. I'm combining chicken picking and legato technique. You can play it with the pick or with chicken picking (like I do). It is also a good warm-up exercise, because it moves your picking a fretting hand too.

    Tuning:
    * Standard
    * E - A - D - G - B - E
