In this lesson, we will analyze the playing style of one of the world's most famous metalcore bands - Killswitch Engage! They have inspired a lot of other bands with their combination of thrash rhythms and huge anthemic choruses which blend together seamlessly!

Check out their most well known albums: 'The end of heartache' and 'As daylight dies' for a very clear idea about what Killswitch Engage really means and also, their live DVD (it's only one so you can't miss it) will prove to be an awesome experience: a pure cauldron of adrenaline and powerhouse music.

This lesson will help you develop:

    - combining two different pulses obtained by playing 16th notes and then 8th note triplets over a 4/4 time signature
