  • The "Open String Pull-Off Solo" lesson covers a modern country solo in the style of Brad Paisley, Brent Mason., and Albert Lee. The focus is, of course, open string pull-offs. The combination of open string pull-offs and hybrid picking can add some serious speed and finesse to your playing. While this is a country lesson this technique is also great for lots of other styles. The tone I'm using is this video is sort of an 80s/90s country sound. I am using the stratocaster to get the "out of phase" sound using the bridge and middle pickup combination.
