  • The "Pick and Strum Country Rhythm" lesson explores a popular rhythmic technique of country music. This rhythmic pattern is useful in many situations and is easily adapted to any key. You will notice in this lesson that we modulate through 5 different keys, but play the same chord progression in each.

    This lesson includes these techniques:

    Right Hand Pick and Strum
    Moving Bass Lines
    Palm Muting
    Hammer-ons
    Pull-offs

    Keys: E/G/A/C/D

    Chords: EAB/GCD/ADE/CFG/DGA

    Tempo: 120

    Scales: This lesson utilizes the major scale associated with the key that we are playing in.
