  • Hey guys!

    Welcome to my new lesson.

Today we are practicing on some progressive metal riffs with my Ibanez RG2228. Yeah 8 strings today! ;)
I'd love you to record your guitars (If you have the chance to!) on this track.
It's important to focus on the timing and the precision of your playing so let's start!

    Guitar : Ibanez RG2228

Equipment : Bias Desktop, Zoom Tac-2 audio interface, Waves Plug-ins.

Tab Note: Guitar Pro tab file in this lesson is to be opened using Guitar Pro 6 software. Due to Guitar Pro 5 not supporting 8 string guitar tunings, the tab is not compatible with earlier versions of the software.

    Tempo : 130 bpm

    Tuning: E B E A D G B E

    Signature : 4/4

    Chord progression

    |Cm | | X8

    |Gm7(b5)| A | Bm | C#m |
    |F#m |

    Key signature : C minor

    Techniques used :

Have fun and stay tuned for the next lesson!
