Rhythm & Soul Octaves is a R&B-Soul ballad where I use octaves to play melody in the jazz Wes Montgomery style. The song is transformed from a soul ballad to blues at the end. Soft start is used to increase the tension and feeling at the end. The difficulty is not in the technique used but in reading the tempo, 12x8 ternary beat with triplets inside make it interesting to play over.

    Music Style:
    Rhythm & Blues, Soul Ballad

    Tonality & Chords:
    Bb Major, 12x8

Octaves, Bending, Sliding notes, Fast "middle finger" Rasgueo

I used a Fender Telecaster Hot Rod 52' with very little delay and overdrive.

    Normal tuning: E,A,D,G,B,E
