The "Rockabilly Country Solo" draws inspiration from Brian Setzer, Nels Cline, Wes Montgomery and Jim Campilongo while living in a modern country vibe. There are some difficult licks in this piece, but overall style is king. There are multiple picking techniques that help open up a variety of timbres within the tonal palette. The guitar tone is modern country rockabilly. I'm using the bridge pickup on the Tele with some compression and pronounced slapback delay into an overdriven amp with a good amount of spring reverb.
This lesson also features snaps & pops and Wes Montgomery styles octaves.
