THE PROFESSOR Bringing the minor 9th arpeggio and minor 13th arpeggio into your soloing ideas is a great way to expand the color of any minor chords in your solos.

    Hey guys!

    Welcome to my new lesson.

This is the main lead part of my song "It’s Gone”. It's built over the E minor riff that I recorded for the previous lesson. It’s divided into two different parts, the theme and the improvisation.

When you play the theme just try to find a good melting sound, using a delay and a chorus. Follow the groove and let the melody flow through the chord progression.

When you play the improvisation part, remember to pay attention to the timing and put a lot of energy into your playing. It’s a dynamic solo and there are different parts to be played softly or hard, with a lot of bending, slides, legato and tapping.
