This is the famous Irish traditional song called "The Irish Rover".
I have prepared this easy version for beginners but the song is pretty fast, so do not worry if at first you can not play it at the speed of the video.
You will play solo and bass-chord accompaniment. In the video I played all parts with fingerstyle technique, you can play them pickstyle if you prefer.
The accompaniment is playing only three chords: D, G and A.
As you can see in the video, for the accompaniment I used the thumb finger for the alternating bass, the others fingers for the chords. This allows me to get a beautiful full sound for the accompaniment.
Perform the song very slowly at first, then gradually increase the speed until you master the technique.
