  • Greetings from Granada (Andalucia, Spain)!

Thanks for watching my new lesson! This is an example of how to create a song using only chords and how to create a melody with those chord voicings. I'm using hybrid picking technique to play with the pick and the fingers of the right hand only the triads I need. The dynamics trick with incorporating melody is to pick stronger the string that is making the melody.

    Music Style: Robben Ford Style

    Tonality & Chords: B major

I play triads melody using hybrid picking technique.

I used Hughes & Kettner Combo Amp with clean sound and little bit of stereo Delay. The guitar is a Ibanez HR-2453 from 1973.

    Standard tunnig: E,A,D,G,B,E

    Tempo: 130 bpm. (Slows 70bpm)
