  • Hi GMC-ers! I composed this little solo for you to give you some blues soloing ideas. I will be addressing blues theory and scales in the spoken video. I tried to play the whole lesson in the style of Whitesnake's Doug Aldrich because he is one of my favorites :)

    Tuning:
    * Half Step Down
    * Eb - Ab - Db - Gb - Bb - Eb
    (From thick to thin string)

    Techniques:
    * Legato
    * Vibrato
    * Bluesy Phrasing
    * Bends
    * Arpeggios
