Nice sound David and cool lesson.
You have really exceptional teaching instincts David. That is really quite rare, in my experience, in any area of expertise. I will also add, one can learn a lot in simplicity. Such as sounding good is much more important than looking impressive (to most people).
Very nice
Simple but cool sounding!
Nice
Very nice lesson David
Simple yet cool sounding lesson David:) Shall be helpful to all metal beginners out there:)
In today's lesson we'll work on a piece that should help the beginners get their rhythm chops up in a Metal kind of musical genre. We'll use some power chords associated with a few scale segments. The important thing in this lesson is to work on your rhythm placement playing all the notes right on the tempo.
Try to play this with conviction hitting every note with a strong picking technique. Make sure to mute all unnecessary strings with the help of your right palm. As always, practice slowly and try to use some of these ideas in your own musical compositions.
Have fun!
