  • In today's lesson we'll work on a piece that should help the beginners get their rhythm chops up in a Metal kind of musical genre. We'll use some power chords associated with a few scale segments. The important thing in this lesson is to work on your rhythm placement playing all the notes right on the tempo.

Try to play this with conviction hitting every note with a strong picking technique. Make sure to mute all unnecessary strings with the help of your right palm. As always, practice slowly and try to use some of these ideas in your own musical compositions.

    Have fun!
