Batista7th January 2009I'm speechless. I love the way you kinda build up the tension and then this sad kinda heavy melody kicks in.
Would be awesome if you could do a lesson in the style of AFI from the Sing The Sorrow album

Emir Hot7th January 2009Very cool. The intro pattern sounds a bit like Metallica "One". I like lines like that a lot
Fran7th January 2009Excellent lesson, love its sad, dark slow melody, makes me want to grab my axe and solo over it. Actually a second lesson with a solo over it would be really cool Carlos!

playaxeman7th January 2009Hi Carlos,
That was realy good. Nice lesson can be done quickl: not to advanced it think.
The tension in this track was building up ending in a powerchord riffing climax.
Did you also made the backing? If so very well done! I is great to improvice over.
Maybe you can share with us how you made it.
Maybe you post your pod patches i am a pod XT live user.
Toni Suominen7th January 2009Nice one Carlos!
Pedja Simovic7th January 2009Very nice in style lesson Carlos!
Lian Gerbino7th January 2009cool lesson man!
Bogdan Radovic7th January 2009Cool lesson Carlos ! You captured the style well!
Carlos Carrillo8th January 2009Hi playaxeman! Thank you for your feedback. I compose my lesson's backings in midi format with nuendo sequencer and then I go to Gabriel's studio where he assigns the vst instruments and makes the final mix.
I use Pod X3 live for my lessons and I don't use to save the presets, we just work on them everytime we start recording a lesson and that's why I just writte the parameters of the settings that I use. However you could ask Gab about details about the backings and pod patches.
