good beginner lesson
This is very nice
I'm speechless. I love the way you kinda build up the tension and then this sad kinda heavy melody kicks in.
Would be awesome if you could do a lesson in the style of AFI from the Sing The Sorrow album
Cool Carlos! Everything sounds just great!
Very nice and melodic Carlos, great job
You showed that with a simple riff it's possible to make a very nice ballad! Second parts hase some cool riffing and melodies!
Very interesting ballad, Carlos! Fireflight is really cool.
really make me happy that you enjoy this! Nazgul! Thanks for your comment!!
That was awesome. You have a thing for putting alot of emotion into your playing, I love it
Very cool. The intro pattern sounds a bit like Metallica "One". I like lines like that a lot
Excellent lesson, love its sad, dark slow melody, makes me want to grab my axe and solo over it. Actually a second lesson with a solo over it would be really cool Carlos!
One more thing Carlos, appart from chorus % delay, what amp/cab model did you choose on X3?
Amp. 1993 solo. Gain: 100%
That was realy good. Nice lesson can be done quickl: not to advanced it think.
The tension in this track was building up ending in a powerchord riffing climax.
Did you also made the backing? If so very well done! I is great to improvice over.
Maybe you can share with us how you made it.
Maybe you post your pod patches i am a pod XT live user.
Nice one Carlos!
Very nice in style lesson Carlos!
cool lesson man!
Cool lesson Carlos ! You captured the style well!
Hi playaxeman! Thank you for your feedback. I compose my lesson's backings in midi format with nuendo sequencer and then I go to Gabriel's studio where he assigns the vst instruments and makes the final mix.
I use Pod X3 live for my lessons and I don't use to save the presets, we just work on them everytime we start recording a lesson and that's why I just writte the parameters of the settings that I use. However you could ask Gab about details about the backings and pod patches.
Thanks my friends!! Lian and Bodgan!!
Very good Carlos,bravo !
hahaha!! Bravo!! Bravisimo!! hahaahah!thanks friend!
Real nice sound
Very nice lesson. The guitar in the begining has a "Burning of the midnight lamp" vibe.
Thanks guys! Capt.Z and Ger!!
Ok friends of GMC! In this opportunity, we will see Fireflight´s style again, but this time; We will study the style of their ballads!
The ballads of this band are really brilliant, the voices, the arrangements, create a special environment! When we speak about arrangements, we speak about very well done strings arrangements, a brilliant performance on the guitar and a great drum accompaniment! The perfect combination for make big songs! In his algums you will find ballads like "Brand new day", "Wrapped in your arms", "it’s you" and others. Today's lesson is based in the song "Forever"! Very cool song!
Ok! Sincerely, all his ballads are very powerful. They don't only transmit feelings, but they finish with great power! The guitar parts are not very difficult, not complicated, but they sound great!
You’ll work aspects like rhythm, scale uses, and different techniques as alternate picking, slides and vibrato. The tuning is down 1/2 step D#G#C#F#A#D# and this lesson is on G minor scale.
