Best lesson ever! =) No seriously, i've been very curious about this lesson since I knew you were working on it, and trust me, you didn't dissapoint! You've captured a lot of King Diamond and Andy himself. I love this lesson and I can't thank you enough. You're an incredible composer
Sounds great, good job Lian!
I've really been enjoying your lessons, Lian! They involve elements of playing that I've never done and music that I'm not familiar with. They have introduced me to some really great things and are very enjoyable to play! Thanks for making a long one like this. Really nice!
Great tone man!!! Excelent lesson!!!
Yeahhhh, love that TONE !
Great lesson as always Lian
Great composition and playing, Lian!

Yea true I agree with Emir If you don't mind I'm going to use some of your licks in video 3 in my new song, but becouse it's me the recording may take "years". Cheers man ;D
Great lesson mate, you were faster than me, I also thought about doing something on Mercyful Fate ^^
Grandmaaaaa.... welcome home......
sorry, got distracted.
"At the graves"? Awesome lesson, I bought two of his album yesterday partly because of this lesson.. Really great stuff!!
Hi guys, welcome to a new tutorial, this time in the style of the well-known bands Mercyful Fate and King Diamond.
I´ve composed this lesson using trademarks licks and structures from both bands. So I hope you find interesting this etude.
Goal here is to feel rhythm mixing playing from riff and rhythmic guitar to solos and melodic lines. So go for it and ask for everything you need.
Many thanks to the following members who requested this lesson at my board: Outlaw2112, Schumi Jr, dreadred.
Take the lesson step by step and ask me if you need any help.
Used scales: E minor, A minor, F# minor
Meter: 4/4 –
Guitar Tune: Down 1/2 step
TEMPO: 130bpm / 190bpm
As some of you know, I use a POD xt to rec all my lessons. In my board you´ll find my presets ;)
On the other hand, here´re the settings for people who wants them..
Amp model: based on Marshall JCM-800
Small room Reverb:
Decay 42 %
Remember: Same settings in other gear will produce a different sound, but, as we´ve talked at the forum, this could be useful for some members, so enjoy!
If you have any problems let me know. Take care.
see you all around.
