TheOldOnes3rd July 2009Very cool. The lick at 0:20 is something I have always wanted to learn and here it is! There is a lot of really interesting things happening in this piece - I hope you don't mind but I will likely learn sections of each for now. The concept though will be something I will try to put into practice for innovation - so many cool concepts, ideas from so many lessons...when will the madness ever stop! lol
Emir Hot3rd July 2009Thanks guys

you can still get some cool licks even if you play slow.
maharzan5th July 2009Oh yes! But this should help me break the 2's notes I am usually stuck at..
I actually don;t like buzzy bee licks. only fast a couple of times in a solo. I am practicing this slow to begin with.
Thanks Emir!

It is all in one go. I recorded about 10 takes and picked this one as it sounded the best.

GGTopGuitarist10th August 2009i've got it down apart from the last part. Are you using some economy picking in this? i'm struggling to alternate it

Yes it's economy. No way you can alternate that. Find my 1st lesson called horizontal arpeggios and those licks are very similar. They will help you understand the shape. That last part is really hard.
