-So far you have learned the arpeggio shapes for common chords. But you have been restricted to only one position. Let's expand that and be able to play same arpeggios (notes) all over the fretboard starting on different intervals. Something similar we do with the modes of the major scale.
-This is a follow up lesson to "Arpeggios Extended Positions" one. You will learn remaining two arpeggios in all positions. You will learn 4 shapes each - for dominant 7 chords and minor 7b5 chords. After you memorize them you will be able to choose right notes for improvising all over the fretboard.
-This is a theory lesson, main video here is just for presentation purpose, shapes shown in this lesson will be for C7 and C minor 7b5 chords. YOU need to memorize SHAPES and fingerings so you can use them in any key you want.
-Videos 1-4 will deal with C dominant 7 arpeggio, and videos 5-8 will show you C minor 7b5 arpeggio shapes. Along side arpeggios you will practice your left hand fingering and right hand alternating finger picking.
Equipment I've used for getting this sound was: Peavey Cirrus bass with active soapbar pickups, equal mix of both of them with added bass and treble on on board eq - then going to the nemesis (eden) amp with a 1x15" and slightly added bass and treble there (at 1 o'clock position).
