Fantastic Muris!! I got to learn this technique now!
Is there anything you CAN'T play?
You're just incredible!
What a great lesson !! You did it very well Its very fun to do..Actually all of slap stuff done on bass can be applied to guitar as well (its little bit more tricky though)
That's an awesome lesson man, i love it!
Keep up the awesome work!
Muris you never stop amazing me with your diversity as a player- extraordinary playing and another great lesson- "What a Loser"
wow, great !
What a loser! LOL! Muris you are awesome! This is cracking me up man. Aside from the humor it's an excellent technique. Do you have a signature bandaid? Ha, Ha!
Actually I putted bandage to prevent myself for further injuring,
thumb was getting RED as tomato
yeah !!! great lesson, I'm less than a looser wooops... Love this starting video in black and white !!!
Haha, cool stuff man

Nice! Slapping and popping on guitar is awesome, specially on acoustic.
Haha, that's hillarious. "what a loser"
Awesome as always!!! Excellent Muris!
That is wonderful and hilarious!
Excellent job Muris. Good job on the chords on screen too.
And who won at the end, you or the guitar?
Great one townmate
Was that a computer voice doing the intro voice over ?
Ufff...I'd Like to be the first to do slap! Damn Muris, You anticipated me :-D
haha this is funny. if you are a loser Muris then there is no word for what i am!!!
what a loser! i mean come on muris!
nice lesson btw!
That was great Muris! Try not to use the metronome while learning english, your starting to sound robotic. Just kidding. Nice lesson.
Ouch! Good god Muris, what have you thinking!?
Kidding - great groove and execution off course.
lol that was awesome...
What a Looser !
I have wondered for quite some time how to pull of this technique and it looks like we got a great lesson!awsome work
Bogdan,yeah,it's computer voice,
I tried to sound that monotone but no way
You never cease to impress me with your playing.
Great as allways man, puting it on my to-do, congrats you'r officially the Teacher with most appearances on my To-Do list
"Ouch! What a loser."
But cool lesson
What a great lesson, Muris!
All GMCers will be wearing bandage on their right thumb for a while now ..
good work and slapping muris.fantastic
And I would suggest you to put bandage if this
is your first time to slap,I made mistake
What the heck was that
Kidding, nice groove and idea Muris, keep it original
You should put "don't try this at home"
omg .. what a loser ..
1 word: Great Muris, the sound you have? you have an octaver effect using ??
hmm no, after listening a few times, you have a great clean sound, mayb put the bass tone a bit higher
There's a bass playing the same thing as I do,
easier for practicing as well, included in backings
Great and a useful lesson Muris!
man my guitar has had a very rough life and needs to just retire .......and for its party im supose to beat it up and slap the crap out of it...I totaly like your style ......BUT if it starts screaming harder dont stop im totaly out of there lol ...............great work
Fair enough my friend, slap it and hire another axe
I´m buying my pack of bandages
amazing muris! Excelent lesson!
Great lesson, awesome job!
Thanks guys,appreciate it!!
Great integration on the bass fundamentals. I don't use it much on guitar, but it's definitely interesting.
Any plans for trying out more complex thumbing on guitar?
If that's what you wish than I might give it a shot
Am I the only one having troubles getting enough sound of of the slaps?
I have an american Strat and am using the neck PU, but the notes ring dead and not with very high output. Any suggestions?
To Cool ! Didnt try it yet but it looks interesting
The Microsoft Sam thing said your name was Maury didnt he
Nope,it was Alex but still Mac,yeah
And few words about my tone here.
I used middle pickup for this one
it's Stan Hinesley LaGrange
and I added some compressor too, well needed.
Perhaps your pickup isn't that high output
so try to add more gain/volume,if you're using amp?
Thanks, I will try that! And btw, fabulous lesson!
But does your guitar have a high action? I.e: are the strings "far" away from the fretboard?
And do you slap on the string only or on the string on the end of the fretboard?
Action on my guitar is "normal" I would say, nothing extreme indeed.
And yeah,I slap string on last few frets,
making it to touch fretboard.
Well, seems a new pair of strings and some compressor did the trick, I'm slapping the fence now.
Way to go,keep it up
nice lesson Muris!!!!
Great lesson man ! great slapping !! no looser !!
