That is BEAUTIFUL. Your a fine example of what happens when you stick with fingerpicking! I couldnt wait for your lesson ever sense I saw your youtube stuff, BRAVO:)-John
GREAT Lesson! Can't wait to see more.
yes _) i have always wanted to learn classical guitar:D
I already know this song but I havnt played it in a year or so. It'll be great to refresh my memory on it.
Welcome Kosei! Beautiful stuff, I love listening to solo classical guitar music
Love it!
Very Nice indeed.
i love this song... although i play it a little differently
i thought this was copyrighted like most famous songs? can someone clear this up for me?
Very nice.
old but still good =)
Oh this classical section is going to be good. We GMC'ers are getting good exposure. Excellent site.
WOW! THAT WAS AMAZING! im a huge fan of classical guitar i absolutely LOVED that! excellent work you;re a fonomanal player!
are you sure its old enough to be out of copyright? that just clicked for as well isnt this called Romance by Anonymous? i also vagely remember remembered seeing Christopher Parkening perform this on the Johnny Carson show. i find that rather doubtful that this isnt copyrighted
Beautiful, great stuff, and something new for GMC!
Is it really illegal to perform and teach a song just because it's copyrighted? Performing covers of songs isn't illegal so this shouldn't be illegal either.
Anyway, really good lesson, looking forward to the next part.
TheProof - no one knows who wrote this composition, it even appears under different names. So you can be confident there aren't any copyright issues!
Kosei - thanks a lot and welcome to GMC!
-Kris
Great lesson Kosei,keep it coming!!
mURIS
Hey Kosei! Welcome! Nice first lesson. It's great to have spanish guitar lessons! Everyday this site becomes better!
omg this is great!!! please do more spanish guitar as it is my favorite kind of music on the acoustic, but about the copyright, i dont know if this means anything but the band My Chemical Romance has this song as the first track on their first album, i never knew it was a cover
thanks for clearing it up. very beautiful peace. wish i had a classical :/
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
one of the best lessons on this site.
i got a question, it might sound stupid. can you play this on a electric guitar or is it better to play it on the acoustic guitar?
hey Kosei,
Welcome to GMC!
Great first lesson, nice sound!
-Ben
Excellent feeling, Kosei! Beautiful song, and a great lesson!
-Marcus
@Boris - you can certainly learn to play this on an electric, it would even be a little easier to play than on a nylon stringer too, but you won't get the same nuances as you do with nylon.
great lesson! The ending part is kinda hard though.
thanks Andrew
now all i need is longer fingernails
wow
awesome .....
welcome to gmc
yes finally a classical lesson! we need more of these..and jazz
cool sounds nice and peacefull, quite easy until you get to 4-5, i couldnt coordinate my fingers for some reason
great stuff, like to hear more classical or spanish acoustic lessons
such a nice sound and easy to play.
excellent lesson!
hey when you do vibrato do have your thumb in the middle of the neck
can you play like that in like shred songs?
Amazing...simply...stunning...
Welcome to GNC, I'm going to like this
Hey
I'm having problems learning the third part, the one with the "full bar". I'd like to know which fingers to place on which strings (especially the two first "sets of three notes", the 7-7-8, 8-7-8). Could someone help out a beginner ?
nice lesson cant wait for more classical
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.... Still cool
This is such a romantic, smooth and expresive piece. I am going to make a list of clasical pieces I know so I can show off in family reunions, etc. too bad I just started.
so far I got this piece, and lagrima, so please keep the videos comming.
Negrito and Natalia are also pieces that I would love to see here.
Very well played
Thanks Kosei ... that was an awesome lesson!!! I'm totally in love with it...!!
nice lesson Kosei!!!
good job
I just paid to learn playing this.. i will try write a song in 5 diffrent languages, maybe Jana would see what I am able to do for her...
Very nice Kosei, also great tune for beginners in order to stay motivated.
Keep on!
Cheers.
who knew something so simple could sound so beautiful
Can this is be played on acoustic?
Im clearly a noob.
When I click for Acoustic lessons all classical lessons show up.
Help?
first song i learned
no lie
Yes.
You can even play it on an electric guitar. It sounds great with clear sound and some reverb!
This in beautiful. It reminds me of foreplay. Really, when I'm playing it I keep imagining slowly undressing, kissing slowly and passionately. It's very clear where we're going, but we want to take our time. Then at certain parts we get excited and rush ahead a bit, but then slow back down to enjoy it. And then... well, you get the idea. Haha.
I hope that wasn't too graphic for anyone.
Btw, I also had trouble with the full bar on the 3rd part (electric guitar has spoiled my fingers), so instead of 7th on the 6th string, I play an open 5th string, and it sounds really good - maybe even better. Try it!
Hi super lesson. But question. At the end of Video 4 you seem to play something else than whats shows in the tabs? Tabs say 2 fret string 1 and 6 but you seem to play the 6 string on the2 fret?
I wanted to say you dont seem to play the 2nd fret on the 6th string at the end of video 4
a classic!
love this lesson, but it is a 2 on the scale. is there any lessons on how to properly use finger stle
sorry I didn't notice the finger break down, but lessons on fingerpicking would be great
