Very nice man. I have done my own Jimi Hendrix Rhythm Style lesson and I am glad that we can show diferent approaches in guitar technique of this great legend!! It will be ULded in a couple of days. Keep on Rockin` Jerry
Hahahaha! Please more Hendrix.
Excellent Ivan - we sure need lots of different lessons to cover all the aspects of Hendrix's playing!
If anyone does another Hendrix style lesson, you need to be sure to include a lesson on how to play with your teeth! lol
very nice hendrix is one of my favorite players
omg, this is composition is awesome
this is extreme!!!

The Uncreator: I was skeptical too... maybe also right now
Ivan: That's cool! On a side note, some weeks ago I was thinking about a lesson regarding the minor pentatonic scale and how to join the boxes.
Ctodd: Not me at the moment! How can we tab the teeth technique??
well done jerry
jerry i love you. your lessons are the only ones im ever motivated to learn anymore haha
this is amazing keep up the awesome work
Bravo!!
awesome jerry i've been waiting to long for this lesson but you really pulled through!
wow really great! and yes, wee sure need more Jimi Lessons .
Thank you again!
Joey: really??
Muris: Grazie!!
Excellent! The more Jimi lessons the better!! Thankyou so much Jerry. Made my day. Because of my internet it takes me 5-10 mins to load each video but it is worths its wait for sure.
thanks a ton. wanted a hendrix lesson badly. this one reminds me allot of wind cries mary and little wing.
man0mule: yes, these songs are the main inspiration for the lesson.
I Love Hendrix... so, I love this lesson! Good Work.
ok i dont get the difference between the glissato and non-glissato
krawetz: thank you for your post. In this lesson is better to say "acciaccatura" for the quick notes. When I made the text tab from Guitar Pro, the software has used the "g" letter, so the glissato came into my mind.
If you use Guitar Pro you can see the standard notation for these notes and you can hear the difference from the ordinary hammer-ons.
I will fix it...
This is a good link for the ornaments.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ornament_%28music%29
woow way better than jimi hendrix. a lot more accurate:)
guitarmasterwannabe: mmmm... I don't know...
The texts about the ornaments are fixed.
Ahh this is still just as beaturiful!!
Thank you Kris!
I love your lessons Jerry, nice tone!
Thank you very much, Toni.
very nice lesson, jerry. has a good tone to it
Awesome Jerry! Jimmy is my all-time number one. Many people try to play his songs and many can. But re-creating his feel and touch are a whole different thing. You did a great job. More Hendrix style lessons please!
Thank you for the kind words, guys!
Jerry!!!.Nice feeling in the fingers..Great lesson i want more!
Bellissimo Jerry.
Thanks!
I'm sure i missed some important lessons or something, but can i ask, how do I play the notes from 7th fret in b and d string without hitting the g string?
Hi Chiruki,
are you talking about video #1?
Guitar Pro exports ASCII tabs in this way, for the grace notes.
Of course, with your first pickstroke you play three strings, D,G and B, using your index finger at the 7th fret. Then you add quickly the other two fingers, using the hammer-on technique.
Let me know if you need more help.
Oh that's all I needed to know .. thank you so much.. awesome lesson btw.
Thank you Chiruki
Jerry, this was fantastic! I would really appreciate if you did a second Jimi hendrix lesson
Nice lesson!
I had one question: In section 2, you slide from 5 to 7 on the 6th string, and then the tab suggests you're playing the 3rd and 4th strings on the seventh fret. But both the sound and the video seem like you're barring the whole 7th fret and we're hearing the 1st and 2nd strings also. Can you clarify?
Thanks for a great Hendrix style lesson, I'm really going to enjoy studying this.
Hi Gary,
you're right. With my left ring finger I press the first three strings (E-B-G). I will fix the tab.
Thank you for your post.
The tab on section #2 is fixed now. Thank you Gary for finding this.
hi Jerry i love hendrix!
good on you!
mats.
Grazie Mats
Very musical Jerry
I'm going to learn this
Thank you Vinod
Thank you Jesse
wow, beautiful!
Thank you Kaznie
Really cool crunchy sound
Thanks Alex
I still haven't mastered muting unwanted notes, but damn is this fun to play once you've memorized it. I'm addicted!! I've been playing for 8 months and want to spend as much time as possible until I can get it sounding like the original - and up to speed! Great lesson
A very beautiful composition that really captured the melodic side of Hendrix's songs. Awesome!
excellent!
Thanks Daniel
I love, love this lesson
