Awesome job Muris !
Simple yet very effective way of demonstrating metric modulation.
Love this one!!!
Cool, this is something i've been working on lately- so it'll be cool to learn this one and also jam on the backing track- thanks Muris
Great lesson Muris, cool grooves and nice melodies
Awesome, I love the lessons with odd grooves, so needless to say I really enjoy this lesson, and I'll be spending some time on it.
Reminds me of "hurry up" by Paul Gilbert, off of the "Get out of my yard" album.
- AWESOME
Wow this was very cool Muris !! Love how you change the meter from bar to bar but keep the overall feeling going
great job man
don't go to any competition with this odd stuff
I really like the slight pinches. You rule, Muris.
Yeah really nice Muris I get a nice warm fussy feeling listening to it!
Very nice floating feel to it. I like it Muris, a very nice composition! Good not only for getting the "odd" but cool grooves but it also enhances ones timing.
Keep up the good work.
beautiful ; a satch feel to it.thanx
SOunds great Muris, good timing exercises, and great tone.
This is cool, Muris. It almost sounds like Steve Lukather stuff.
Fantastic lesson yet again Muris!
I have no problems playing it, however I've never really learned how to count measures, except for straight 4/4 measures. Any advice on this? I think it's very simple, but since I've never had problems playing most measure values, I've never really bothered to learn to count them.
Amazing lesson Muris.
Appreciate it guys,much thanks.
Seagull, there are basically 2 approaches for counting odd beats/grooves
and it all depends of type if the groove/grooves.
Easier one is when you have the same odd groove playing in loop,
lets say 7/8,5/4 etc.
When groove is the same all the time it kind a gets into you,
you feel the groove so there is no need to really count it.
And more harder situation is like it this lesson,
when grooves are changing all the time,
it needs real focus and real counting, like 1234,12345,1212123 etc,
schemes are many but it needs to be counted.
You may count it by stepping with the foot and counting in your mind
or you say count it on loud, pronouncing every beat.
Very cool! Your lessons are always cool
cool licks and grooves Muris!
Great Lesson Muris
Very understandable
You make it so clear.
Thnx Muris!
One of your best lessons so far. :-)
Amazing lesson Muris, keep groovin`!
Beautiful melody Muris =)
Thanks guys.
This is a really great lesson. I always look foward to them. Is it me or does this have a Steve Vai kinda sound to it?
Tastes are indeed different,
someone said Satriani,you said Vai,
then someone said Gilbert,Lukather etc.
Cool one mate, I say Satriani
