  • Hi all :) ..and welcome to my RockaMetalBilly lesson!

I was playing around with drums in Cubase when i by accident made a bar with a triplet/boogie feel. I then copied the bar a few times over and started jamming along to it. After a few loops i had come up with a few melodies and riffs and then decided that i should make a lesson out of this :)

It's got some easy parts and some trickier parts, so i hope there's something useful here for most students.

As usual I have included a few backing tracks and a GuitarPro file.

    Hope you like it!
And don't hesitate to send me questions if you need help with.

    BPM: 160
    TimeSig: 4/4 (Triplet feel)
    Key: G
What I used to make this lesson:
    Cubase SX 3.0 (Daw)
    Toontrack Superior 2.0 (Drums)
    Trilogy (Bass)
    Waves SSL (Compressor)

    Guitar: Jackson SLSMG
Amp: Marshall JMP-1 (OD 2 channel with gain on 90%, bass and treble on high and mid almost on zero). The amp is connected straight into my soundcard with no additional processing.
